How do I add mods in Wrye Bash?
I've been using mods and download Wrye Bash and the Oblivion Mod Manager but I don't know how to install mods with them. I only got a few mods to work doing it manually but there are others I can't do manually.

Am I supposed to extract them first or not when wanting to use the programs?

The more complicated mods tend to have a lot of folders and I have no idea how to get them to work in the game and it makes everything more cluttered in my Oblivion files.

Most mods that you download off of nexus, you can just drag the file onto the installers tab or copy it into the Bash Installers folder. No extraction necessary. There are some mods that aren't packaged in a way the WryeBash can support, but not that many. Once the installer is there just right click on it to install. More complicated mods have checkboxes for options, you may need to select "view Readme" before installing.
There's a pictorial guide if you need help: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/35230/?

My game keeps freezing now after installing some mods with Wrye Bash, even after turning uninstalling and deleting from the installs tab. How do I fix this I can't even play the game now!!

Now the game won't even start when I play after I rebuilt the bashed patch in the mods tab in Wrye Bash. It doesn't even go to the opening or anything the screen just goes black for a second then stops. This happens when I try playing with the bashed patch on and I need to have it on for the mods to work.

Should I just give up and uninstall the entire game and mods and reinstall? Luckily I have a mod free save data backed up.

edit: I got things working normally again I think but now the spell icons in my game is weird now, I've had the midas magic mod which has worked fine and gave me no trouble but now that I also got the supreme magicka mod on as well I think it is what is screwing with the spell icons. The midas used to look like those burden spells that were a round purple bottle shape but is now some weird white circle. Some spells don't even have icons, will this end up being bad in the long run or is it something I shouldn't care about?

I uninstalled the supreme magicka mod since I don't like how it makes my spells cost way more magicka than I have but the spell icons for midas are still weird white circles things.

That's a "feature" of supreme magicka and a few other mods. Oblivion actually had an icon for scripted spells but the vanilla game never implemented it. Instead scripted spells by default use the burden icon. There are a few mods that fix that.

As for the bashed patch, I'm not sure what happened. You do need to rebuild your bashe patch anytime you change your mod list or load order.

So apparently it isn't just the spell icons being messed up, every cave or mine I see has those big yellow diamond explonation points and I also see them in chapels.

That means a texture or mesh is missing. Reinstall the mod.

The supreme magic mod? Why would that mess up the enivornment? I got the chapels to not have them anymore when reinstalling and making the all natural and interior mods working but I'm not sure which mod is responsible for the caves and mines textures.
