Is there a mod that make the difficulty less unfair when you go beyond Level 10?
I like Oblivion, it's the perfect balance of Morrowind's mechanics and Skyrim's combat, but the difficulty after you reach Level 10 is just the definition of unfair. Are there any mods that make the difficulty more balanced after reaching Level 10 and beyond?

does it make the difficulty unfair for you or your enemies?

For me. Goblins are too overpowered, Bandits are demi-gods, and monsters from Oblivion just liquify me on sight. And I'm playing on the normal difficulty! It shouldn't be this hard! I know I could lower the difficulty, but I ain't gonna resort to that just yet, I need to find a solution! It's a 9 year old game, so within those 9 years of mods there should be what I'm looking for.

Also, before somebody says it, I already looked around the Nexus for a difficulty balance mod, and I couldn't find one. There could've been one that just went under a misleading name, but so far I can't find what I want.

not a mod but maybe a better understanding.
I despised Obilvion when it came out because of issues like this. I found the best way to compensate while retaining good game play was to pick a Class I never would be. So I picked healer or custom. So, if i only used swords and shields plus heavy armor I would never really level up. Then, I would cheat and increase those abilities i used most via console commands. This helped early on, when you have to destroy oblvion gates all the while not leveling up. Once you solve the Oblivion crisis, you can then use console commands to re-align according to your gamestyle. This is not the answer you were looking for. Cheers.

now that you have read how to level effecietly, i will link this to you. I set all skills to major and level up by skill increase of the major skills. let the mod level for you.

There should be a slider for that. Just like in morrowind.

Are you efficent leveling? The "issue" with Oblivion is you need to somewhat plan out your character and focus on combat related skills. Enchanting and custom spells can be a great boon provided you have access to them.

I have been focusing mainly on combat related skills, and I still get my donkey handed to me. I'll try to level better when I get around to starting a new character. And if all else fails, I'll just lower the difficulty. Better to live a noob than die a tryhard.

That's odd. Not meant as a boast, but I've done entire Oblivion gates wearing no armor without using any potions. Is your Endurance low? You want to max that ASAP. By level 10 you should have 200-250 HP which is more then enough for most fights. Speed is also handy.

Edit: If you do roll a new character be sure to pick the Lord sign. It's a powerful heal with a small mana cost and the 25% weakness to fire isn't hard to counter. Goes great with Bretons.

If you are using a combination of mods? I remember once i had two mods that conflicted, and my Health, endurance, etc, was always so low i could be killed by a Mudcrab Pinch!!! i dont remember the mods now, but think it had something to do with a overpowered enchanted item? check your stats and see how low you are, drinking potions, healing spells, made no difference btw.
