Seriously i do not understand what you need to know.
so if you look at your unmodified fatigue and your fatigue when cursed that little bit of fatigue loss is next to nothing. and depending on your level and how you have raised the fatigue deriving stats it gets even less important.
there are times when I adventure with 20 or more points being damaged to several different stats and skills.
It is your choice on how quickly you want to finish the quest and remove the curse but I see no reason to rush it if you do not want to.
BTW- I linked uesp because many people play and report problems on the steam forums but have no idea uesp exists. If this doesn't help you hopefully you get someone responding or search for what you do need to know. best of luck in your adventures.
walking does not consume any fatigue so you will still only gain 5 fatigue. contrary to my prior posts, get rid of the quest asap. I do remember now that it is a pain because the effect is constantly running allowing you to only regen when standing or walking.
the curse could be better thought of as a drain fatigue regeneration effect of 5 points. Because I forgot exctly what the quest was I was just going off the normal damage effect and not this special one.
I apologize for not investigating what I thought knew and adding to the problem. I am very sorry.
"Curse of the Consumed, which constantly damages your fatigue by 5 points"
The word "damage" is "DAMAGE FATIGUE" spell effects that is described on uesp
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Damage_Fatigue
Uesp also described "every character have regenrate fagigue".
I checked my Crusader's video now.
My character's fatigue (green bar) sometimes run out and she drinks some self made restore fatigue potion for some time until that curse wear off in the course of Nine quests.
