The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Deluxe Upgrade?
I bought Oblivion GOTY a couple of years ago and recently started getting back into it. My game consists of me playing a Mage type character and i heard there was a DLC adding a special Wizard Tower and Spell tomes which are perfect for mage characters and i saw that it's only in the GOTY Deluxe version of Oblivion but i only have the GOTY edition which only has Shivering isles and Knights of the Nine.

I was wondering is there a way on steam where i can buy the rest of the dlc's that come with the deluxe edition so i can add more fun features to my game. can i buy the Oblivion Deluxe GOTY which upgrades my oblivion game or do i have to download them somewhere else.

I was JUST getting ready to ask this.
I wanted the houses and Mehrune's Razor but they're not all worth another 25$ collectively. Damn.

Wait for the winter sale.

I thought spell tomes and wizard's tower was included in regular GOTY, and deluxe only there for additional Fighters stronghold dlc.
no regular GOTY only contains Shivering Isles and knight of the Nine

After all these years of it sitting in my library, I finally get into Oblivion only to learn about this nonsense. Sigh.

Doesn't matter, the DLCs are too small. There are plenty of mods that are far better than them.
i do agree but mods are very different. theres just this feeling that you know it's a mod. also with mods there bugs and glitches and the mod needs alot of maintenance by the author

I'm a bit confused.
I own the 5th Anniversary Edition (retail), so do I get those extra DLCs or just Knight of the nine and shivering isles?

not sure if bethesda is still selling the dlc on their offcial site or not but a few years back I purchased all the extra dlc from their site for my GOTY PC disc version. you could simply go to the oblivion section of the site and see if you can purchase the items you are missing. purchase them if so and then add them to the proper section of the games files as one would when adding mods. honestly though it would be cheaper most likely to just buy the deluxe version during this winter sale. :falkwreath::riften::whiterun:

Don't know if this is gonna work but in this link you can buy Knights of the Nine on disc (only 2 left) and add/copy the DLC:s ESP:s from the disc to your Steam Oblivion.
