Anyway its easier to take something useless and pre-existing, like The Lover, and edit that instead.
edit: so is there a fix to making copies? No, not that I'm aware of, unless someone finds that 10+ year old datamine thread that figured out the ID issue. Even then that doesn't fix it, just identifies it. To increase the torture, the vanilla birthsigns aren't affected by the custom birthsign bug, so there's not much point observing their end bytes for a pattern.
