I have a problem saving and loading the game

Every time I save the game it says it's saved, and when I go to see my save it's not there.

You have not said if this is an issue which has occurred suddenly after playing for a while or if you have just started playing a new character. Nor have you said if you are using mods. This information would be really helpful.

It sounds like the saves folder is in the correct location, you are not using one drive and the cloud is disabled?

I suggest; If this is a new character which is giving you issues then try starting another new character. It does not matter what it looks like and you do not need to play it.

im having the same issue as the OP, almost.
first no mods
second new character with alpha name, no spaces
third it DOES correctly input autosaves... but manual saves don't function... they're gonig to the documents my games oblivion saves folder... like they're supposed to, however, manual saves are not showing up there, only my one autosave (which is ok, for now... but doesn't let me really decide when and where to do what later on).

i might try console manual saving to see if that functions as mentioned earlier

The name can be anything you like using letters and numbers, but, must not contain a space. (you can use the underscore to replace a space).

just wanted to let you know that THIS worked.. but the regular game save did NOT! IDK what the issue is with oblivion, but this solved it for me.

Probably for this guy, not for any of the other 100 million players.
