Thanks I'll try this stuff out, and see how it goes.
To be honest, I'm just a casual fan of the Elder Scrolls series and, to me, Skyrim doesn't seem different enough to warrant a purchase.
I just want to try to recreate my stealthy Argonian character that I had on my 360 years ago, wander around the lands, and observe just how far Mod-creators were able take various aspects of this 18 year old game in order to improve it.
I'm aware that this is not about pictures, but I don't think visuals are any less problematic in this respect. I myself don't see how visuals could improve gameplay at all (they may make it more pleasant for you to watch the screen while you play, but this is not what I'd call "gameplay").
