Then, two arrows later, he falls. His buddy enters the room, sees the corpse, and says, "Oh, god, there's an assassin in our midst."
yep, it's not just a computer game thing, it's a role-playing game thing. while many action games simulate reality, role-playing games simulate certain rules. for instance... an arrow launched in an action game is affected only by virtual physics, and an arrow launched in a role-playing game... well, it's affected by much much more, depending on the depth/quality of that role-playing game. possibilities of imagination supposed to be endless, right? at least things should be like this. and breeding rpg and action genres so brutally like bethesda does (since skyrim) can only lead to more absurdities...
majority have spoken! super heavy bikini armors ftw!
I remember a playthrough very early on in Skyrim where, after the dust of war settled, my character had an arrow in his knee. Thigh, actually, but close enough. Now if there were any realism in the game I would have been forced to go to Riften and get a job on the city watch.
Meanwhile, in Skyrim, you can place a bucket over the head of the guard right next to you while you puncture lungs of a nearby crowd of people and never garner any suspicion.
Both extremes are hilarious, but I did miss the challenge of remaining undetected when playing Skyrim.
Of course, they wore what you sold them. Sell a dress to the poor shopkeeper and he wore it for the rest of the game.😅
(I didn't know about the bucket trick in Morrowind. That's hilarious. I've never had a problem emptying a house undetected before, but I never compare it to the other games. It's just about as easy as Skyrim, isn't it?)
Now I want to test it. :/
Skyrim does have the easiest stealth though. I did like that the weight of your boots affected how easy you were to detect. Until you bought it off with the perk that removed it. Did oblivion have that?
