Wait bug

So, when i press T i cant wait, only get the option to rest, so when im not near a bed i get the "you need a bed to rest" message :(

Hmm, never heard of this one before. Are you running any of the sleep gameplay changes or a level overhaul? It'd help if you post your mod load order.

This doesn't appear to have a solution, outside of loading a prior save or running the unofficial patches if you haven't already. This mod might also help:

There doesn't appear to be any noticable conflicts on your load order. As a result, there's only a few (mostly generic) suggestions I can offer:

1. First try using TES4Edit to detect incompatibities, (as well as clean mods) and BOSS/LOOT to help the load order.

2. If that doesn't help, then try verifying the intergrity of the game cache, which is available by right clicking on the game title in your Steam library and found under the Local Files menu of the Properties option.

Unless it's the Days&Months.esp. Try disabling that and see if it has any effect.

seems oblivion reloaded is causing this bug; did a fresh install of the game, then the 3 unofficial patches and worked, then installed reloaded and bam this bug

I think he's talking about the ini file at Data\Ini\OblivionReloaderdEsp.ini.

Might try that out, but it'd be best to back up your ini first.

I know this is REALLY OLD, but you can disable sleeping mode in oblivion/data/obse/plugins and open oblivion reloaded and set "sleeping mode" to 0.

This is now an ancient thread, but for those like me who are still playing Oblivion and come across this problem, you can now disable this setting in-game. Press "O" to bring up Oblivion Reloaded in-game interface, then go to Sleeping Mode and set to 1 by pressing "+" then press Enter.
