Just got a 5GB Update?

I just got a 5GB update for this and 700mb update for Morrowind, can't find anything on google; what are these for?

Those games are not officially updated anymore so it's just steam side of things. Nothing for the game has changed

@OP, did you change something on your system recently?
maybe a permission issue on the steam library folder?
maybe your anti-malware is blocking Steam from detecting the files properly?
maybe something "cleaned up" files to "save" space and ended up deleting parts of the game?

I don't think I changed anything, I've had these games installed for a long time, amongst about 30 other installs... weird

5GB is about the size of the entire game. So it's likely that it was just redownloaded completely by Steam for whatever reason. Shouldn't happen normally.

It's the entire game..there was no update, just steam doing steam things

if the game did got updated, we all would expect Todd to fupp us over again with the horse armor but this time storage companions with baby-sized hp!?! Even a punch ranked on lvl 10 can KO them.
