How to set the game to French ?

Hello, I got the GOTY version of Oblivion but it's in English, how can I put it in French?

Have you tried changing the Oblivion.ini file? It should work.

Open the file in Notepad or any text editor and change the "ilanguage" value from 0 to 2. To hear audio in French the next time you launch the game.

Have the same problem and changing ilanguage value or add "Language=FR" in the ini file changed nothing for me :/

J'ai trouvé la solution sur le site de la confrérie des traducteurs. Il faut simplement télécharger un patch fr qui passera l'ensemble des textes et voix du jeu en français, je viens tout juste de le tester et ça marche nickel.

Il suffit de télécharger l'une des archives "Part 1" ou "Part 2" ou "Part 3", perso j'ai juste pris la première. Ouvrir l'archive et lire le document texte "A lire" La t'auras l'explication en 2 clic comment installer ton patch.

Si jamais tu veux installer des mods sympas sans faire planter ton jeu, n'hésites pas à jeter un oeil sur le site de la confrérie (https://www.confrerie-des-traducteurs.fr/forum/viewforum.php?f=85) ils font vraiment un super travail.

Petite correction parce que j'ai remarqué que certains pnj se retrouvaient sans voix, il faut d'abord faire la procedure d'installation pour la "part 1" puis "part 2" puis "part 3".

Le prêtre d'anvil, il n'a pas un voix (fichiers perdu?) J'ai déjà le jeu dans le francais (Steam install). Avez vous ce problème aussi?

Solution: Corrige cela avec le patch non-officiel (Francais) pour Oblivion, Shivering Isles et tout le DLC.
