The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Through the Valleys "install Blockhead" on faces
I followed this guide exactly as it's written as far as I know https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/51105

When I launch the game, all the faces say "Install Blockhead". Blockhead is in the obse plugins and I launched via obse loader. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Make sure you aren't running either 'Oblivion.exe' or 'Oblivionlauncher.exe' in compatability mode or as Administrator. I just spent most of the day trying to figure out why my OBSE wasn't working. If you run the game as admin but not Steam then it automatically disables your overlay which disables OBSE. Every walkthrough I have seen says to run them in compatability and as admin but disabling that has finally fixed it for me. The game still runs fine.

According to the instructions, you need to manually copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_loader.exe, and that's when the bug you mention happened to me too. I had to also copy obse_steam_loader.dll and launch the game normally through steam and not obse_loader.exe. Haven't had a problem since.

I definitely re-installed OBSE using the guide multiple times to try and fix it, but the issue persists. According to the guide, MO2 should take care of launching obse, but it's not running correctly. I am giving up as well lol, I've sunk too many hours into this as it is.
