how to get rid of this annoying little ghost in skingrad

im in skingrad and i went into the basement of the inn there, i forget what its called, and while i was stealing some food this little ghost appeared. it looks like an imp with no legs or wings and it hovers about 1 inch off the ground and it looks like its carrying a bag of some sort. kinda like a sack of potatoes or a sack or wheat. it makes a really loud whooshing sound constantly and its begun to follow me everywhere. even when i go outside the city gates it keeps following me. when i press "e" (my use key) on it it disappears, but it always reappears about 15 or 30 seconds later. can i kill this thing somehow or banish it? its really beginning to annoy me.

Can you take and post a screenshot of it? I've never heard of anything like this before. Also do you have any mods installed?

i have a few mods installed but nothing crazy. i have the unofficial patches, deadly reflex, unique landscapes, enhanced economy, better cities, midas magic, immersive weapons, oscuros oblivion overhaul, natural environments. none of those are supposed to add anything like this though. i tried googling "oblivion skingrad ghost" and got no results either.

You can try targeting it in console and type kill to see if it dies. If not type disable.

Huh, never seen anything like that before, try using a dispel effect on yourself as it might be a glitched summon or something. If that doesn't work, open up the console, click on the ghost and type disable. That should permanantly get rid of it.

The culprit definitely is Oscuro's or Midas Magic or Enhanced Economy, my bet is that it's Oscuro's. You gotta figure out what's up with the ghost, try going back to the place where you found it to begin with.

Yeah, gotta be a mod. I just looked up Skingrad on UESP, and there's no mention of any kind of ghost in the basement of either of the two inns there.

Man, talk about a necro post (pun partially intended) ... but for anyone who finds this page from a google search (like I did):

(in my case, at least) it comes from the mod Basic Primary Needs. It's a halucination of a ghost holding a pillow. It means your Sleep need is empty. You gotta sleep.
