Menu bug after switching tabs
Basically I'm using a walkthrough for the game and everytime I return to my game from another program my menu is frozen. Any way to fix this?

Don't Alt+Tab, it messes with Oblivion. Are you using any mods ?

Nope, I'm using a 100% vanilla version, plus I do it with shift + tab

The only way I can successfully alt tab in this game is to press escape to pause, alt tab then alt tab back to the game. Menu will not freeze for me when doing it this way. If I try to click the icon, it'll freeze or crsh the game. Same happens if I don't pause the game before alt tabbing.

So yeah, try it :)

For me it's the other way around, if I pause it then shift + tab and I enter another program when I get back and I click resume the pointer freezes there and nothing happens.

Make sure you alt tab. I can't use the windows key to back out which I usually prefer to use over alt tab (if i do, menu freezes like yours or game crashes), shift tab most likely won't work either.

Open the console and then close it. If it's still frozen, minimize the game again, open task manager, click on Oblivion and click on "switch to" then click again on the screen and you should be back in the game. Keep trying this process
