What is the point of "Frenzy"
I tried experimenting with this spell, but I couldn't really figure out what it was doing.

It says in the manual that casting "Frenzy" will increase a target's aggression.

Are you supposed to use it on creatures that you summon, or your allies in battle, to make them better in combat?

I am also wondering if this spell is used to make an enemy creature delirious and attack his own fellow creatures?

Also, is this spell similar to the "Rally" spell?

Thanks for the help.

Frenzy makes NPCS go mental and attack anyone, if you do it in a town the effected NPC will attack the nearest NPC

It's surprisingly useful. Also really fun. If you have someone you need dead for whatever reason, use frenzy on them. Then either the person(s) they attack, or allies of said person, or the guards. Will attack the frenzied NPC. Unless they are a badass hero, or a god, they will undoubtedly die. Enjoy.

So does it have any use during combat?

Will it make an enemy creature attack his own friends?

I tried using it that way once, but I'm not sure it worked.

yeah, it is great in combat, but it does not work on undead.

also, it is pointless if you are fighting against 1 opponent.

in short, use this spell to make enemies fight among themselves.

Thank you. I tried it once and the Ogre just ran around looking confused, but I'll try it again.

I think your enemy has to be under a certain level for it to work, depending on the particular spell. I'm not for certain though.
