Taxonomy of Obsession bugged

So I'm playing the shivering isles taxonomy of obsession, I'm stuck on trying to get a boliwog to her so she can paralyze it, problem is, she won't paralyze it. She always kills the creature, tried spawning and bringing it to her, no success, tried finding one as well, no success. Currently I used console commands to complete the quest because it is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying, any help would be appreciated so I could complete the quest properly.
