The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Knights of the Nine DLC has gone missing!
Ok, so I installed the knights of the nine revelations mod, since then my game has crashed before even getting to the bethesda logo. I have disabled the mod and the problem still occurs, I later discovered that the game only crashes when mods relating to the KOTN DLC are enabled. After disabling all of the KOTN related mods my game loads in on an old save although the most recent save was made in the priory of the nine (after completing the DLC). My save loads in the tiber septim Hotel, I was wearing the full crusader armor, that is missing from my inventory and the priory of the nine is not on the map (I had discovered it at the time of that save). I believe that my KOTN DLC has some how gone missing, is there anyway for me to replace it or restore it. Please help!!

Weird.

All you have to do is launch the game and select Data files instead of play, then make sure KOTN is checked. You probably accidentally disabled it somehow with Wrye Bash or something.

I have checked the data files and it isn't there, is it "KOTN.esm"?

It is called Knights.esp.

Nope, it's not there, I've just re-installed the whole game and KOTN hasn't installed with it.

You probably deleted the Knights.esp accidentally.

You can try Verifying the Integrity of the Game cache in the game properties to restore the esp, but doing so may cause problems with a heavily modded game.

There should be tutorials on how to remove the bethesda intro out there, though I doubt that's the problem. Best to verify game file integrity through steam. If that doesn't work then try disabling your KOTN file, loading in a game and saving, then recheck it and try again.

I found the esp in the game file and opened it, it seemed to remind the game that esp was there, I've managed to get it working. Thanks for the help though guys I appreciate it!
