Unable to Progress to Apprentice in Fighter's Guild [SOLVED]
I should start off by saying that I am using mods, but the biggest change to normal gameplay is the alternate start mod I'm using. I'm afraid it may be the cause of my issue. When starting the game, I chose to start in the Anvil Fighter's guild, which automatically completed the "Join the Fighter's Guild" quest. I have since completed the "Desolate Mine" and "Rat Problem" quests. When I talk to Azzan, he tells me that the next job requires an apprentice, and I might be ready for advancement. However, none of the usual NPCs (Azzan, Burz gro-Khash, Vilena Donton, and Modryn Oreyn) have the necessary dialogue topic to advance my rank. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

EDIT: For anyone else who may have this issue, while I was unable to find a proper way to progress, I was able to advance my rank using a console command: "player.setfactionrank 2228f 1"

Older post, but you were supposed to just ask for advancement from the dialogue options.

The advancement dialogue should always be there no matter if you're ready for an advancement or not. Most likely just a load order problem, or a change to the Fighters Guild that broke the character progression.

Indeed. I can't figure out what it may be, though. I don't have any mods which modify the Fighters Guild, unless the unofficial patches broke more than they fixed.
