Slow Movement Issue - Resolved
Resolved - Turning on the "always run" key makes your character move at full speed without burning stamina. Oblivion doesn't have a sprint option to move faster than that, something I forgot.

I have just started the game, my character has nothing in inventory, and I am unable to keep up with the Emperor and his escort. My character's standing movement speed is exactly the same as his crouched/sneaking speed while using keyboard and mouse.

I've gone into the default and custom .txt setting files to adjust "bUse Joystick" to 0, and I changed all the joystick sensitivities to 0 as well. It didn't help. I don't have a controller or gamepad plugged into my computer either. Does anyone know what might still be causing the bug after the troubleshooting I've done, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

And no, DON'T just say "turn on always-run", characters should be able to move above a crawl without having to burn stamina to do it. I played Oblivion back on the 360, I know what the default movement speed is supposed to be like.

I have perhaps the same problem, character moving really slowly, if i strike or such the character temporarily moves at normal speed. Seems to be slowly gliding too, scrolling back shows that the character walks and such very slowly.

Edit: Seems like removing joystick fixed it.

Running doesn't drain your fatigue. And pushing the stick forward all the way on the ps3/360 IS running.
