Circle Icon in top left of screen (Elder Scrolls III, IV, V)

I'm not sure if it's affecting anything. In games like dark souls 3, it shows up but fades away and when i move the cursor up to where it was it doesn't come back, which is what i would expect since im in a game. However, whenever I play an Elder scrolls game, whether it be morrowind, oblivion, or skyrim, the icon will reappear whenever the cursor moves to the top left of the screen, and with that my desktop cursor shows up, and if i click, it minimizes the game. Reopening the game has only resulted in crashes, typically when i move areas in morrowind, and immediately in oblivion and skyrim. I don't have a clue why. Its the worst in oblivion, even going as far as my desktop cursor appearing along the whole top and left borders, and of course if i click anywhere up there the game minimizes, thus essentially resulting in a loss of time, progress, and my will to play these games. I know oblivion was always bad for people clicking out of their game in fullscreen, but in all of my 120 hours in skyrim i never had this problem nor seen this icon and now suddenly that it has started in oblivion (coincidentally oblivion didn't start out doing it either until i noticed the circle icon - perhaps related to a mod? if so why is it affecting all of the elder scrolls games and not just oblivion?), i have to deal with it in morrowind and skyrim too. A lot of people said the icon they had in their games had a red line through it - mine does not, though it is the same with the arrows forming a circle. This is a weird situation, i don't have a nvidia (amd mobility radeon hd 5870 (dxdiag only tells me that its "5800 series")) so i don't know if its that shadowplay thing everyone else has related to this icon. Anything at all would be helpful, even if its not helpful, because at this point im just thinking i wont be playing any of those games anymore unless i can fix this stupid bug or whatever it is.

Do you use any programs that add any huds or bars or whatever to the corners of your screen?

I have a mod for oblivion that changes the hud (HUD Status Bars), but im not sure why that would affect morrowind and skyrim too.

I didn't ask you if you have a mod, but of you have a program that runs in the background...

I suppose that would mean advanced system care 9 then. It monitors my ram and cpu usages constantly. I thought the litle circle with the arrows was related to something on Nvidia cards/drivers though, most occurences of it for people have been the same symbol, but with a red line through it, and usually bigger and in the bottom right. Mine is the same, but in the top left, with no line, and smaller.

Yeah. just gonna get rid of the games. Its not advanced systemcare. Ive had the program for ages, played skyrim for 120 hours now and it only recently started doing this. i will try and see if stopping the processes will work.

I think its the Raptr desktop gaming app. Its a thing kind of like steam, but with plays.tv, a feature that lets you record your gameplay and stream it online. I will uninstall and let you know if that was it.

Why would you get rid of the games for this? Simply look into the programs and alter their settings if it bothers you that much.

No, i found the problem. And because this computer isnt just for gaming. when i go back to school ill have to get rid of some games anyway, i hardly have any disk space
