Anyone figure out OBSE and UOP on Steam Deck?
I'm still pretty new to Linux in general, I've got Skyrim mods going and MGXE for Morrowind, but the moment I tried to install OBSE and UOP I already broke Oblivion.

I've got previous experience modding Oblivion on Windows, so I figured I could try it the old fashioned way and installing mods manually. Well, somehow the game stopped recognizing any data files after installing both of these mods. I even tried to use MO2 and it couldn't find Oblivion. So I messed something up, but I don't know where.

I've placed both mods into the Oblivion folder with their respective sub folders, launched the game, tried to load my save and.... All the master files were missing. So I tried to look at data files in the launcher and it couldn't find any of the files either, even though they're in there.

I've already fixed my game by deleting everything and reinstalling, so I'm back to square one. It's definitely a lot different than doing it on Windows, so what am I missing?

I should also mention I've attempted changing OBSE_Launcher to OblivionLauncher and nothing changed.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I got it working eventually, the first Reddit post I found didn't mention you had to place the files on the desktop before moving them to the game folder. But thank you, I forgot I posted this and needed to update it.
