... but I will say that getting BASH and LOOT and whatnot going on the deck is tiresome. If you have a PC, install Oblivion on the PC and the deck. Then mod the PC until you're happy, then...

• 7zip the PC's folder. Also zip Documents/My Games/Oblivion and AppData/Local/Oblivion
  
• copy those to the deck and extract them to the Oblivion Folder and to .local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/22330/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Oblivion
  .local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/22330/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Oblivion
  
• The SkyBSA is a good idea.
  
• The appdata folder holds Plugins.txt which is important.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! Have a quacked version with 5-6 years worth of random progress and mods I've been trying to transfer to the steamdeck.

That horrid appdata plugin folder was all I missing everything is working now YAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!

I'm glad to make someone happy. Oblivion has been buggy enough on PC to prevent me from ever finishing it despite spending thousands of hours in it. The deck has a chance of me finally finishing it.

... and even with that, I'm happy that someone else benefits :).

Thank you so very very much for this! I tried following a guide months ago but couldn't get the game to load with mods in game mode, and when it did load with mods in desktop mode the frame rate was in the single digits.

This worked perfectly! Though I did end up manually re-installing OBSE and SkyBSA manually after copying everything over from my PC. Pretty much like what you said.
