Better Cities Error
I need help, when I start a new game with FCOM, Alternate Start, Better Cities and a few other non-coflicting mods, I arrive at any of the designated locations and massive yellow errors appear all over the screen, I have each part split into a seperate archive using OMOD. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how I should fix the problem...

Sounds like you are missing textures or there is a problem with the file path for the textures. The problem may be with the installation of OOO. I know I had several yellow exclamations after I installed it.

I am not sure what will fix your problem completely. You could try manually installing the OOO texture folder from the FCOM install if that is possible. You might also be able to fix it by installing a texture pack like Qarls on top of your FCOM install.

Then you may have to fix any remaining problems by manually replacing any problematic textures with the yellow exclamations.

Your problem may have been caused by the order of your install. I usually install Better Cities before OOO and install OOO towards the end.

You should run BOSS to properly sort your load order if you haven't already.

Exactly what bbqkitty said. Your problem is OOO. search for vids to help in the installation. there is also a mod to eliminate the viual errors but I can't remeber what it is called. It doesn't really help much though when an invisible enemy keeps attacking you or floating heads are moving around.
This happened to me and I gave up really quick just wanting to play. I hoipe you get it fixed.
BTW you might want to change the thread name to OOO help because it has nothing to do with better cities(good mod too).

Thanks for the help btw, really appreciated, one last thing, I downloaded the merged FCOM superpack instead of the convergance one as the guide I was following, explaining what other sub-mods were needed to run FCOM without any flaws was outdated back to 2011 I believe, but anyways, with it being quite old some of the external links were bound to be 'gone' as such, a few of the superior links came up with rather '404 server not found' error or 'page not found' . with that said, I gave up and installed the merged FCOM superpack, I woud've installed the non-merged version but the owner lost all of the data for the non-merged version plus all the other superpacks for Fallout 3, NV, and Morrowind, he's currently making one for Skyrim aswell, Back to what I was saying, I'm just wondering if it is actually possible to tamper with the data as you previously mentioned. If you would like the check the links I'll post them below,Thanks for your time.FCOM SUPERPACK - http://tesrenewal.com/forums/elder-scrolls-games/oblivion/2460 FCOM INSTALLATION THREAD - http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1324714-relz-fcom-convergence/

Install "FormID Finder" and use it on the yellow popups.

http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/16704

It will show you what you are missing.
