Best way to extract character models from the game?

I really really want the model of the Adoring Fan that I can open in Blender so I can rig it with a skeleton and turn it into a VRChat avatar, but I'm kind of new to this and don't really know how to get it. I've seen that ninja ripper can do stuff like this, but that it might be different due to the fact that it's on Steam? And Bethesda packs up all their stuff into bsa files, which I was able to open with this one executable program but had no luck finding any npcs in there. Does anyone have any advice to give me?
