That also applies to console games given for "free" for paying the online subscription. Imagine having to pay a fee just to play games online. It's already bad enough that the internet has to be paid for smh.

i pay for amazon prime because i use amazon prime. I do not pay for amazon prime to get games on twitch, they hand me those games as an extra, that is free to me. Get it?

The difference here is you have these games for free, forever. unlike on console where you have to have an active online sub.
