The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Does this Steam version come with the Official Patch or not?
So bear with me here while I explain why I'm asking this question...

I was doing the Cure for Vampirism Quest and I came across a glitch. The witch Melisande required Bloodgrass to make the potion. But because I had already finished the main quest and closed the Oblivion gates, the dialogue option to give her the Bloodgrass was not available. Funny enough, I actually ran into the same glitch on my Xbox 360 version years ago. Anyway, the wiki page said that this specific bug is fixed with the Official Oblivion patch. I went on to the Nexus to download it, but it says very clearly there that the Steam version ALREADY HAS the Official Patch installed. But that doesn't make sense, otherwise I would not have had the Bloodgrass glitch to begin with. I ended up fixing the glitch with a simple console command, but I still don't understand whether or not my game has the official patch. Can anyone explain this?

There's a fan made patch, which fixes bugs bethesda didn't. Here: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/5296/?

Yes, Steam version comes with the Official Patch.
But you should get the Unofficial Patch too.
