The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Static Buzzing Noise
I had the same issue when I played Fallout: New Vegas. I'm using Anker SoundCore Q10 headphones connected via Bluetooth.

Might be something as simple as capping your FPS to 60 if you have not already done so.

Just a tip it is always best to start a new thread and not necro one.

One of the comments in that suggested mod says that installing Windows 10 Media Feature Pack[www.microsoft.com] can solve this issue. You may want to check it out before installing that mod. The mod apparently doesn't support Windows 10 anyway, so if your OS is Windows 10 by any chance, this would be your only option.

@OP, use HRTF mod[www.nexusmods.com].
It's some sort of emulation layer for direct sound, so it can help. Easy to install.
If you are playing the game with headphones then HRTF will be a nice addition anyways

Repeated? I put it in the 2 posts you started at the exact same time about the same thing, which is why I gave you the tip about necro'ing, because I take it on that other thread that is not your rig that the original OP had.

seems that after i switched over and used 3.5mm cable included instead of connecting via Bluetooth, all the buzzing/crackling/popping noises are gone. but i still do hear the sound kind of cut out from time to time.

also no I'm not an audiophile and music is not a hobby of mine, so I don't care if 3.5mm is "garbage" or if I'm missing out on noise cancelling.

Wait. If you are using Bluetooth than dedicated sound card is ignored and not used at all, I believe. It works that's way. Blame your Bluetooth transmitter and Anker SoundCore Q10.

If it's a desktop PC, then you can use some sort of Optic -> Bluetooth transmitter.

It will cost the same as this headphones, though.
And what do you expect from Anker SoundCore Q10. Cheap piece of crap. Not even support AptX and Bluetooth 5.0

I have no issues with using these headphones when connected to my phone or when I play other games (except New Vegas). I guess you're right about the sound card not being used when Bluetooth is activated.

For its price it was much better than the last budget headphones I got. And you need to watch your language. I could easily buy the most expensive headphones if I wanted, or I could save up that money for other stuff. Bluetooth in of itself isn't even that good compared to 3.5mm.
