The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Journal font is messed up. How can I fix it? [picture]
I just loaded up Oblivion in a Windows 10 boot (though I installed the game in a Windows 7 boot) and the font in the journal isn't appearing properly.

Here's a picture of how it looks: https://i.imgur.com/ymdHSxY.jpg

I have some mods installed, but nothing really game-changing. I think basically a UI mod that makes things smaller, some grass and tree mods, and unofficial patches for Oblivion and its DLC.

Maybe a font-change mod? I don't recall installing that, though I did install the UI mod I mentioned.

I installed all of those things in Windows 7, and I installed them directly into the game directory, and not via Nexus or another mod manager. So, the mods should all be in the directory.

Is there a mod I can install or re-install to set the font to appear properly?

I just tried manually re-installing Darnified UI, and it didn't fix the font issue and also created a new issue in that now mouse doesn't work to select menu items.

I found the solution. I had to add the text necessary to use the Darnified UI fonts to the oblivion.ini in My Documents\my games\Oblivion.

The font was missing and messed up in the game because I installed the game in Windows 7 and edited the oblivion.ini file there. But, when I load the game from Windows 10, there isn't that same oblivion.ini file in the Documents folder.

After adding the text needed, the font now appears properly in the game.
