The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Best overhaul mod for NPC look?
Thinking in replay this game, so I'm looking for suggestions of a mod (if exists) that would make the NPC look better (not potato face).
Better if is one that don't require dozen of other mods. Like one or two more would be ideal.

There not a lot of choice, actually (unlike Morrowind and Skyrim). There is only one.
Oblivion Character Overhaul 2[www.nexusmods.com] (OBSE and Blockhead are required)
Oblivion Character Overhaul 1[archive.org]

v1 not require OBSE and Blockhead plugin and more close to vanilla, I believe.

This mods are only for heads, for bodies it's a different story

You could check out Natural Faces a little old but still okay.
Have tried both Natural Faces and OCO2. OCO2 is a good mod but I got totally fed up with everyone having pointy chins.
Nowadays I use Cobl + Cosmetic Races.

As the above stated not much choice for Oblivion.
I used Natural Faces, it just make it look more clean, but still keep the rounded faces.
Going to try OCO2, and try to find a good body mod that fits. Probably nude.

And before anyone say, its not for "perversion", but that I actually don't feel awkward about nudity. Main reason why game characters are stuck with underware is that society still treats it as is big deal.

I have never seen the problem with it.If you were a perv surely you would be trawling porn sites and not playing a game.
I actually like to try different mods to see what they do, just for the hell of it.

Have just installed (since I have never tried it before and I keep seeing it on mod sites).

HGEC Body with BBB v1dot12-34442.OMOD
NoMaaM BBB Animation Replacer V3_1 OMOD-35551-3-1
Includes the skeleton replacer etc as well.

Might uninstall if I cannot find a way to stop the boobs bouncing so much.

Plus I use replacers for the eyes in game.

OCOv2 with Seamless is the best pick.
I having trouble to HGEC to work using Vortex. No body changing.
OCOv2 seems fine. The HGEC texture patch also, don't see to work.

I had a few too many problems with Vortex so I have reverted to what I know works, OBMM.
Well, I moved the files for the suppose to be installed mod to the Oblivion folder. Skeleton, and my choice of top and bottom for 1st and 3rd person. Now see what I need to make the BBB to work.

This right here.

Oblivion Character Overhaul v2 and Robert's Male/HGEC seamless are really the definitive answer here.

If your new faces and bodies aren't appearing in your game, download and install the mods OBSE (Oblivion Script Extender) and SkyBSA.

Don't use Vortex to mod Oblivion. Use Wrye Bash (there's a bit of a learning curve and required reading). You could look into Mod Organizer, I think it can install a variety of Oblivion mod formats including Wrye Bash installers and it's probably easier to use.
