Oblivion XP and Darnified UI don't work together with Steam Version?
On previous retail versions of the game, i've been able to get these two mods working perfectly with each other on OBMM with no problems whatsoever.

But for some reason whenever i choose the options for these two mods to become compitable with each other, i get either A. Darnified level up menu, HUD, Skills etc or Vanilla level up menu, Hud Skills etc with no Oblivion XP sources rendering.

The mod itself works, i can gain experience but it doesn't pop up, nor can i level up because there's no clickable option. Plus it's really jarring having vanilla Ui's and Darnified Ui's at the same time.

Am i doing something wrong? i have OBSE, Menuque, Pluggy and all of the Unoffical Patches installed. nothing else, OBSE is working, and so are the other mods. so what gives? what am i doing wrong?

The most perplexing part is that it works perfectly with retail but not with Steam.

In what order did you install? You need to install Darn's first and then OblivionXP letting it overwrite files.

that's exacrtly what I do. My Load Order is as follows:

1. Oblivion
2. Various DLC
3. Unofficial Patches
4. Darnified UI
5. Oblivion XP

I just did a fresh reinstall so i'll update again if i can get it to work this time.

pardon the redundancy, but just make sure that you are installing OXP after DarN, not just loading it second

it wouldn't be the first time somebody mixed up install order and load order

I really should have clarified this to begin with, my apologies. I did install Darnified before Oblivion XP, those 5 items in my load order are also in the order that i installed them in, just to be on the safe side.

*FIxed!!*

I'm not sure what i did wrong the first time, maybe it was a bad install. not quite sure. But everything is working exactly as planned. Thank you to those that helped!

Maybe you tried to install the manual installation at first? it also didn't work for me when i used that, i had to uninstall it and then i tried it with obmm and that worked suddenly.
