Knights of Nine, Prophet is ****
I wanted to help this old **** save world, but it seems he doesn’t need much help, and prefers world to be conquered by Umaril than to let Hero start quest without choosing most stupid answer, I will never use
(-Are you worthy knight
-No I don’t seek fame)
No, I don’t want to choose it. If prophet thinks, that trolling Player for saying “Yes” or Claiming the Deeds esp good and noble as Hero of Kvatch, Champion of Cyrodiil, than to the hell with him. I’ll just go to Shivering Isles, become Sheogorath, and see how the mortal world burns, only because some old **** was too proud of himself and overconfident, advising hero to search relics himself without his help.
****ing yes, I would have no problem seeking relics alone, if it wasn’t scripted, that I MUST answer “No, I don’t seek fame” in order to continue quest line.
I would love to see, how Umaril conquers everything, and prophet will think “Well, ****, may be I should have shut up and just gave quest to only man, who responded my warnings?” And then be brutally slaughtered.

A true knight, is chivalrous, bold, and courageous

But he is also humble, polite, and respectful.

The divines smile on those who acknowledge their imperfections, but still strive to be better.

To claim otherwise draws your soul closer to the daedric lords, who commend arrogance, pride, and boasting.

I only did the Knights of the Nine quest line once and it was over a decade ago, but I remember he mocked me when I told him about being the Hero of Kvatch or being the leader of the Fighter's guild.
I remember that he didn't mock when I said I was the leader or the Dark Brother Hood, he gave a sort of interested answer, but it's been a little over 10 years since I did that.

I also remember that first time i did this quest i chose Speaker of Dark Brotherhood, and Prophet ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ himself. It was only faction that allowed me to bypass "No i dont seek fame", but i wasnt sure if i remembered that correctly, cause 14 years passed, now after you say it i am sure it will work again, thx. I wasnt sure in this answer, cause wikies said that "No" is only possible responce to continue quest.

Funfact you can pickpocket the map from his pockets to get the way to the shrines, not sure if it causes the quest to start though.

It doesnt, even if you visit all shrines without map quest wont trigger.

But you would have the map because you pickpocketed it. Do you know if it starts the quest if you pickpocket the map from the Prophet instead of talking to him? Might be a bit of fun if it does.
