Triggering Dark Brotherhood
So, something weird happening or maybe result of some mod. When killing civilian, i don't seem to trigger Dark Brotherhood. They should be some text right? I killed 3-4 people for testing purposes, nothing. I don't remember all, but they include beggar, Worm man from Anvil, some Khajiit in Plaza District and so on.

Some recommended Targets for the kill are as followed:

1. Complete Origin of the Grey Prince and then the Arena Questline; killing him in the final battle will count as a murder.
2. Mephala's Quest requires you to murder 2 people to complete it.
3. Fighting your shade in Shivering Isle's "Symbols of Office" quest counters as a murder.
4. The Sirens in Anvil count as kills.
5. If you're really desperate, just kill a random guard. You'll have to payoff the bounty, but it works.

After this, you should receive the ominous message "Your killing has been observed by forces of the unknown..." and the next time the player sleeps, you'll be visited by Lucien Lachance.

Alternately, if the quest doesn't update no matter what you try; odds are it has become bugged (Elder Scrolls games are infamous for this). If so, try the following in the console (hit ` at any time during gameplay) and type:

setstage Dark01Knife 10

This will start the Dark Brotherhood quest, and though you won't meet Lucien at first, it should proceed as normal.

Seems like a Necro, considering that a Necro is generally when something from 2012 is suddenly revived in 2019.
