I am hoping to buy a copy of this game but I have a question about it first. Is owyn killable or can you destroy his arena or something? From clips and descriptions, the character owyn really really annoys me and I am hoping there is a way to get rid of him without console commands. I find the whole arena thing just kinda screwed up. Not against being bad in video games. The arena setting is just something that I would generally destroy in games and I am hoping that destroying it is possible due to how ticked off owyn makes me.

he's essential

you can remove his essential status in console, same as everyone else, but doing so is highly inadvisable, since the game isn't meant to handle dead essential NPCs

i suppose, if you killed him, and never trigger the arena questline, the game might not blow up in your face, but i honestly don't think anybody of sound mind has even tried that

Owyn isn't annoying so I don't get why your saying he 'ticks you off'. You only have to speak with him when you want an arena match or when you're ranking up in the arena, but even then you can skip through the conversation.
