Any balance mods? And other mod suggestions for newcomer?
So it's been a while since i played the game and i'm thinking about picking it up on pc. Any balance mods to make it more like morrowind? During endgame I remember balance being way whacky due to how enemies scale. Also on the note of mods any suggestions for other good ones in general to pick up?

I personally use these to make Oblivion into a better experience (more like Morrowind)
I'll leave it up to you to read about them and decide if they are something you'd like.

Wait, you've played Oblivion before but it's been a while, yeah? If you want a more vanilla like experience do not use OOO or MOO, maybe try something like Realistic Leveling (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/13879) and/or Better Leveled Lists (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/2272)

Unofficial Patches for it, both expansions, and the DLC if you get that version.

And consider some random fixes/patches because Oblivion is just broken. I followed the Stability Mods, OBSE Plugins, Fixes, and Patches section of this guide and it worked pretty well.

Using OOO atm, definitely gives more of a morrowind feel. You will be trash and encounter enemies far stronger than you for a very long time.

Stumbled upon this just earlier today:

It's new and therefore uncertain, but it looks good for cutting out the pace-annihilating minmax game without handing out unearned points. Frankly I wish I'd had it when I started my last character.
