Does it run on Windows 10?

So as Fallout 3 isn't really optimized for running on Windows 7 and above, I am wondering if this also doesnt run well. How does Oblivion perfom on modern PCs?

It does run. No problems other than some bugs (It's bethesda game)

One of the reasons Fallout 3 doesn't work on modern PC's is because of Games For Windows Live. Oblivion doesn't have that

- Game refuses to be streamed on Discord at the title or it closes. Stream it while in-game, and it freezes
- No native controller support so you're left to Steam configs
- Needs a mod to remove stuttering
- People use mods to make it better lol

The 'glory' of games """better""" than Skyrim.

I had to re-install it a few times before it would launch and there was no error but I think it might have been something to do with Windows Defender. I added obse_loader.exe as an exception to my anti virus software because it kept flagging it as suspicious.

Well, I mean it is better IMO. Only mods I use aren't even mods, just the community patches. When I did mod the game, it was all just vanity things like better character models and better environment meshing. Otherwise, the game is perfect in my eyes.

It runs good. I always have a gamefreezing bug created by getting to close to either the zombie or rat in the beginning of the game ( Workaround is to use console-commands tlc/tfc to noclip to the near of them and kill them with the kill-command)

It runs fine even on Windows 10 update 2004.

I performed a test run until before the first big scene. No issues so far.
