Mana regen with Battle Mage redguard atronach sign.
Hello. Above topic please. First time playing this and I think I've chosen the most difficult thing, in regard to learning.

Can I please have a step-by-step guide about where to get mana regen?

Thanks so much.

because you have the atronach sign, you do not regen mana passively on your own.
you can however use potions (through alchemy or naturally found as loot/in shops), and absorb spells thrown at you.

if you have decided to level up in conjuration, you can also summon creatures that use spells and have them attack you to absorb mana from those spells, if you'd like to get creative

Yeah I simply never take atronach because it's got too much micro managing and tedium
you can absorb negative alchemy effects, they're classed as spells, the exclusion being your potions as they cant be absorbed unless they have a damaging effect
so either use potions with damaging effects or ingredients with damaging effects, i cant actually remember if absorption can be triggered from positive ingredients or potions...

Telekinesis spell can be used to regain magicka, as the spell absorbtion effect tries to absorb your own telekinesis spell.

I would just suggest you to pick a different birthsign. It's your first time playing Oblivion, so the atronach birthsign isn't very suited for you.

Play fighters guild questline.

Proceed to the part where you get the ring of silence. (150 fire dmg on self enchanted ring)

Keep equiping the ring until the spell absorbtion effect happens.

Enjoy godmode magicka.

Hoard Welkynd Stones and memorize the locations of Ayleid Wells on the map... that helps a lot. Also, Blue Steel Entoloma, Flax seeds and Bog Beacon are the most common and available plants to gather early that give you Restore Magicka with only novice alchemy. (later if you're aprentice, add Stinkhorn and then even later you can add Hyacinth.)

Also, stack equipment with absorb or cast an Absorb spell on you before engaging mages and such, you can easily reach ~70% early game if you're lucky to find a ring and some other equipment piece with absorb.
