I am not facing this geezer and finding it very hard to kill him... I get close but all his mates keep getting me first. Anyone got any tips on how to take him out?

paralyze his kids, they keep respawning if he is alive, then just nuke him

Mankar Cameron is a fight you either have to be super prepared for, or that is below your level. Mankar Cameron's children will keep respawning until you kill him, so that is the biggest priority. What worked for me was to paralyze Cameron and then hit him as much as possible. He's immune to a lot of stuff, but also has limited health (if I remember correctly). Also be sure you have lots of health potions stocked up, and fatigue potions would help. You might be running around a lot.

Well I managed it at level 14 with only six health potions but what a slog! Ended up using me sword like a looney, invisibility potions and night vision from an amulet... But took me several deaths 8-)

Those epic battle moments become the games best memories. I remember he was tough and I think I used the Apotheosis on him. He doesn't have 100% resistance to fire, frost or shock so the Apotheosis does some damage against him and most enemies. Combine it with paralyze and you can make light work of most encounters.

Make sure your health potions are hot keyed so you can consume them with a hotkey instead of opening the inventory.

the illusion armor child has a pretty good ring, so its worth to kill him atleast once. In my playthrough i was a mage and i kept killing myself when trying to kill him with spells, so i just perma killed his children and summons until my summon and the support dude killed him

all i remember is when he started talking in that throne room thing i yelled out "blah blah blah!" and then i smashed him in the face and he died
