Best race?
So I'm really interested to know what race y'all find the best and which you find the worst.
Personally I think the dark elf is great, 'cause Dark Elfs are basically decent at everything and you can go any direction you want (you can do that with every race but you arent going to have a good start as a mage Orc)

Tbh, I can't think of a "bad" race, 'cause every race has its own specialty. But like I said, I would like to know what you guys think about this.

I like you

Thank you.

When I started out as a Battle Mage getting out of Level-1 seem like it took forever compared to my Nord Warrier. But once I got through the initial Level-1 which by the way was probably more powerful then my Level-3 Nord Warrior, the levels sped up dramatically.

Why did it take so long to change levels in the beginning? I was missing some tricks such as walking around all day and casting harmless spells like Detect Life or Summon Skeleton which is slower of the two.

I have dumped all weapons but 2 swords and one is silver. I can use Fire spells instead of a bow and arrow. I start off with a fire bolt to weaken them and once they close a hit or two with a sword finishes them off. If they are resistant to fire then I close rapidly and slash and cut till they are dead. Average and below locks are no longer a pain.

My current level is Level-10 and the game is fun, fun, fun.
Hahaha, that harmless spell casting is so relatable, I use that for every single branch of magic, So at the start of the game I always buy the novice spells for every single magic branch and start casting them for no reason except destruction and restoration becuz i always use those. Good way to become more powerful

Bretons are actually my runner-up favorite race, really good at conjuration and restoration very useful branches.

Morrowind: Pretty much all the races can reach silly late game levels so it's hard to pick a 'best', though the High Elf vulnerabilities kinda suck. I guess Dunmer is the best all rounder, Redguards get a silly power + blade skill, and Argonians are nice and speedy.

Oblivion: 50% magic resistant [with a 50% magic resistant item obtainable easily in game for total magic immunity], 50 magicka, and a 50% physical damage shield once/day. That's like every base covered. Bretons win Oblivion.

Skyrim: High Elf. 5% movement speed increase over the other races, an awesome special power [10x magicka regen phwoar] and the only race to receive ANY bonus stats [50 magicka]. It's easy enough to make a High Elf into any type of character in the game in Skyrim, just train the skillz!

ESO: Never played it so I don't know.

Argonian 4 life dammit! Also i hate some Khajiits that talk ♥♥♥♥ about Argonians xD we only do silly jokes about them! Like... You know why Khajiits lick their butts? Yeah you all probably know this one lol
i like argonians, they can breathe underwater and they have always been my friends

they are pretty pointless since you can get that rare helmet with the water breathing(No reason to play as argonian) Night-eye(No reason to play as khajiit) and other enchantments, fen gleam or something like that

Even easier, you can get Jewel of the Rumare - ring that grants athletics buff and water breathing just as you step out of the Imperial City by doing Aelwin Merowald's quest in the Weye settlement, located at the Imperial City's bridge

if you survive the Slaughterfish, their attacks are pretty hard
