game won't minimize into taskbar
usually when i'm playing a game on steam, with windows, i can just push that little "window" button near the control button on the bottom left of my keyboard, and the game will minimize so i can look at email or whatever else i need to do. but when i try to do it when i'm playing "oblivion", nothing happens. i seem to have to exit the whole game, which is a real pain. anybody else have this problem or any ideas on a fix? thx

This is an old "problem" and I don't think it has a fix. You have to get used to just close it.

You really don't want to do that with Bethesda games, they don't minimize very well. There's a good chance that your game will lock up when you try to go back into it. Either play the game or check your email etc. Don't try to do both at the same time.

huh, that's odd, most my other games don't require me to do that but i guess this one is just a bit more complex?

Again, all Bethesda games are temperamental when using Alt + Tab or any other method of minimizing. Use at your own risk.

Use alt + tab, then when you wanna go back into the game, open your task manager, find Oblivion and click on switch to. Then you usually just have to click somewhere on the Oblivion window, wait a bit and you're back in the games. Sometimes it takes a few tries.
