Yeah, I always found it messed up that they did that in regards to mods. Most of the time you need a mod or two to fix some broken aspect of their game. Same with Fallout 4. I came from PS4 and SE and FO4 both ran like pure garbage so definitely was not a fan of being punished for needing mods to fix bugs. x(
Playing through Skyrim SE for all the PS4 trophies was a really mediocre and infuriatingly broken experience lol
I didn't realize that it did not have achievements. I'm new to PC so was simply wondering how far back Bethesdas mod/achievement stance began.
Skyrim's the first TES game to have achievements on PC. Mods don't disable them in the original Steam release, but they do disable them in the Skyrim Special Edition re-release.
There is, of course, a mod that re-enables them.
