Oblivion Achievements
Why were they never added?? They're on the Xbox 360 version I remember but not on steam today. Has Bethesda forgotten or simply ignored the notion to add Oblivion's achievements.

The watercolor in all of Oblivion's drawing for Items, classes, signs, spells, and
achievements
-do NOT go unappreciated. Thats why Oblivion is such a classic. It's a time invested masterpiece.

I know achievements aren't for everyone and some people think they're stupid. Thats ok, I enjoy trying to earn them. Is there no way the Bethesda team would tip it's hat to it's fans and allow us to *Emperor Voice* earn them, and close shut, the achievements.... of oblivion.

I would honestly play this again if it had achievements.
I'll play it again anyway, being one of my favourite games of all time. I'd just play it more and sooner if it had achievements.

no they dont have em, back in the day when i got this on pc the game was actually on the disk unlike nowadays, but u didnt need steam 2 play it so no achieves, actually come 2 think of it i believe oblivion and fallout 3 both had achievements but they were on windows live.

The achievements on the Xbox were a joke though. Literally every achievement is just a rank in a guild or a stage of the main quest. You can get all achievements 100% in one play through without even trying.

It's not like skyrim where there's achievements for doing a bunch of side stuff or picking locks, etc. The oblivion achievements are just play the game normally and you get them all

I do agree with you on that, they were pretty standard and easy to get if you followed the questlines. Still I'd like to see them return to oblivion.

on a side note; I highly highly doubt it, but how cool would it be if they added the original achievements back, but also added new ones that were more difficult and tasking

If you've beat the game before and done all the quest lines - then you would have earned all the achievements. That's all they were. It was an early Xbox title so they didn't have interesting goals to try to do like games do now. You're not missing anything by not having them.
