besides that what audio problems? never had an issue with audio even from a game thats 12? years old.
I set mine as follows
WASD (naturally movement keys)
CRTL (Crouch)
SHIFT (Run/Walk hold)
CAPS (Run/Walk swap)
E (Activate)
R (Autorun/walk)
Q (Draw/Sheathe Weapon)
F (Change view first/3rd)
Space (Jump)
TAB (Inventory etc)
Mouse Left Click (Attack)
Mouse Right Click (Block)
Mouse Thumb button 4 (Cast spell)
Mouse Thumb Button 5 (Grab/Move)
Game controls perfectly fine for me with that config setup.
As for the Audio I can't help you.. i'm also having some really annoying problems with it.
Some say there isnt any at all but I do get music etc
It's usually fine for a little while but then starts getting progressively distorted the longer I play until it sounds like some kind of midified dubstep crap and I can't make out the music at all anymore XD
I've tried running the game in compatibility with Vista but doesn't fix anything.
There's a conflict between the additional DLC that requires changing the load order and other problems. I resolved those then the save crashed a few days later. I don't remember what the exact fix was for the conflict. I do have the unofficial patch installed.
One quest doesn't start unless you show up in the essential NPC's residential district if you sell a certain item to a new vendor that's added in the additional DLC.
Check that your video driver is up to date, especially if its an Intel onboard type..
I've had problems losing the PC sound when switching between TV and HDMI if I've turned off the TV. Windows (10) was removing the TV and installing the video card sound driver. That was a Win update problem though, because it didn't do that until recently.
I don't have compatibility on for Oblivion.
Just an FYI on the corrupt save problem. The crash came after doing only menu saves and turning off etc. This time around, the only thing I'm doing differently is exiting to the main menu before quitting. Autosave is on, and I do quicksaves. I've had a few crashes to desktop but the saves were fine.
