Atronach Birthsign: Not absorbing magicka from wayshrines or spells
I've been playing Oblivion for a bit as an Atronach, but I can't seem to get any magicka back through wayshrines or spells. I tried uninstalling OOO and the Supreme Magicka mods, but those did not help either. I can post my modlist/load order if necessary. Anyone else have this problem?

Doesn't ring any bells, but I suggest checking the last page of the magic menu to see what effects you have active. Is the absorption effect correctly showing up there? Does it start working if you additionally drink a potion or cast a scroll with the effect?

Just gave that a shot, regarding potions and scrolls. Did not absorb Magicka at all. The effects are shown as active though. I'm thinking it's a problem with spell absorption itself.

I suggest you next disable the rest of your load order. If that brings it back to life, re-enable half of it, re-test, and then either switch halves or re-split depending on the result. Shouldn't take long to narrow it down.

Unofficial Patch do stop Luck Old Lady Wayshrine etc..
They think spell absorption from these effects are bugs.

There are mountains of ingredients to make restore magicka potions. Mountains. Stop worrying about the wayshrines.

So i made my own mod to make ICArcaneBrasier01 works like a AyleidWell.
It is very easy to create. Just copy object script "AyleidWell" and add Object Script to ArceneBradier.

Wait what? Im worried now. Does that mean using those mod patches is a big mistake?

No, they fix bugs. You want them. But it's a BUG that those things are restoring your magicka. If you want to keep those BUGS then you need to stop using the patches. That's how it works.

Ah alright, got worried. Been a bit suspicious with supposely "fixing" mods lately.
