Umaril the Unfeathered quest bug?
I've been playing the knights of the nine questline and I just started the Umaril the Unfeathered quest. After traveling to Garlas Malatar and asking the knights to follow me, im stuck in the first room. I've pressed the button/switch to open the three doors but the doors stay locked/closed. I've watched a couple of videos to see if I missed a switch or something but they all press the same button I did and the three doors open.

I've tried reloading saves from before I even entered Garlas Malatar and pressing the button still wont open the doors. It seems that I will not be able to finish this quest.

Does anyone have an idea as to how to fix this or should I just accept it and move on :(

This happened to me once when I first did the KOTN quest. And I don't believe there aren't any mod out there that fixes this, not even the unofficial patch.

I can't remember exactly, but I think I used 'disable' command on the doors to get passed them. The knights were following me just fine after that as well.

I played through it 2 days ago and had no bugs. Was a pleasant surprise. The quest with the door in nibean bay or whatever is buggy as hell for me though. Crashes, can't proceed, etc.

I've played this quest a couple of times. And the only time that this bug happened to me is now. There are a few mentions of people having the same problem online but in comparison to most ''common'' bugs it isn't mentioned often. That might explain why it isn't fixed with any of the official or unofficial patches.

Anyway I've used the disable command on the door and was able to proceed. I can finish the quest now, thanks!
