What is the best birthsign for an imperial warrior?
Is there any real point in getting "The Warrior" since all it does is increase some of my attirbutes? Can't I just do that naturally while I play the game? I think the best birthsign to get would be one that gives me a special ability, but I'm not entirly sure since this is my first playthrough and I forgot to choose a birthsign when planning my character.

The Lady - 25 Endurance is a huge boost.

You sure I shouldn't get something else? Can't I just get more endurance naturally?

You can get more endurance through levelling-up. In the long run, any special bonus from The Warrior birthsign will get moot after awhile. Personally, I would go with either The Tower (a Reflect Damage ability of 5% for two minutes, and an Open Lock ability of up to Average quality) or The Ritual (Mara's Gift, which is a healing ability, and the ability to Turn Undead).

You could, but that 25 Endurance is +2.5 HP a level. If you were to get that normally, that would be 5 levels of +5 endurance, of which just at that point you have lost 12.5 hp, which isn't much, but every bit helps later on when every cave is filled with Goblin Warlords.

You could also get the Thief stone for luck + agility. Agility helps to not get staggered, and luck is just luck.

One should note on this one the extra usefulness of a luck boost, since luck is the one attribute with the slowest potential to increase thru level ups.

If you properly focus your training (every action in game between level ups) to get +5 increases on level ups on the other attributes, you can make the other start increases moot pretty fast.

However luck has no way to train this way, and you can only ever do +1 increases to it on level ups.

As far as something for a imperial warrior, 1st playthru character, I would say it depends.

If you want a antimagic edge, to your warrior, to not overlook Astronach. Even if your not going to use the increase magicka for spellcasting, the 50% spell absorb,(which is also how you regen magicka since same sign stops the natural regen) can make a more magic proof warrior. With the right gear later, you can easily reach 100% magic absorbtion, making you largely immune to magic period.

The Lover. The Lover's Kiss paraylsis ability can be a great last resort or emergency ability, if your ever disarmed as a warrior or have a weapon break. As an imperial, one of your abilities from that, synergizes well with it, to overcome the fatigue penalty of using the kiss.

Tower, good defensive skill that complements warriors well, while the key is a nice one if your ever force to lockpick something basic, and don't have any picks or skill.

Ritual is good, healing and anti undead skill. Good if you want to sort of feel like a D&D paladin. However for that very reason, I feel it goes better with a knight or custom made paladin class, since they would use a little more magic than the warrior.

The Lord, can be useful, if your not scared off by the fire resistance penalty. Where as Mara's Gift from Ritual can only be used once a day, the lesser heal spell (more of a regen) you get from this sign can be used multiple times a day. You just need magicka.
