About the "Vow Breaks" Quest's Alternative Way.

Hello everyone. Im trying to complete "Vow Breaks" Quest in alternative ways, but it's impossible to Disarm Bjalfi the Contemptable to get "Rockshatter" without killing him. So I found and article it says there is an alternative way to complete this quest without killing him. But as I said its kinda impossible to Disarm him. So I tried also Disintegrate spell to get the mace without killing and I achieved it . So I break the weapon with spell and then paralyze the target and looted the mace while it was on his pocket. But game counted it as I killed him, because when I talked with the Maeva there is only option it says Bjalfi is dead, which is actually he is alive. So I also waited 3 days without giving the mace to her, but Bjalfi didnt come to home for beating his ex wife.

So I believe maybe this way is only works on old versions.. Because as I said I couldnt Disarmed him with my power strikes of Blade. Please help me if you have an idea about this quest.

Well, the only way, I know about is to kill Bjalfi, take "Rockshatter" back to Maeva, get her reward and then kill her to get "Rockshatter". But if you don't want to kill anyone, I have no idea how to get it.

Hello thanks for replying me , Yes its easy to get Rockshatter back after the quest. I am a thief so I pickpocket it from Maeva without killing her :) . So the thing I want to do is completing it on alternative way :D So I want Maeva to gift me that Mace , not any other actions like stealing it or killing her.

Well, I don't think she is scripted to give you that mace, so I' not sure, there are any other alternative ways to get it. But let me know, if you figure something out. Good luck.
