If you want to see them in-game there's the Map Marker Overhaul mod (REQUIRES OBSE!)[www.nexusmods.com] that adds missing icons for the places that didn't use to have them, like shrines, guardian stones, etc. but you'd still need to get close to them to actually find them and make them appear in the map first.
There could be other similar mods too, but the mentioned MMO is the only one I remember now that I've always used myself.
Also, if you want to see all map markers at once, in case you need to find something and know where is at, you can use the command ~tmm 1 and that would let your character auto discover ALL map markers in the game... it cannot be undone, so be careful... as long as you save your game and then reload after using it, you should be OK.
EDIT: Again, use with caution! If you want to use 'tmm 1' remember to make a save first! There's no way to undo it, and doing 'tmm 0' will only remove all map marker knowledge from your character leaving an empty map.
