Stupid question time ?

How do slect one and one only item when you have more than 1
i.e I want to select 1 item to barter, or drop or create alchemy etc

In Morrowwind you held down the shift key and select at same time
Oblivion ?

I think you select the stack normally and when you try to sell or place in a chest it will bring up a slider...
But that slider won't appear if you have 3(?) or less.

Two or less. In that case, clicking a stack automatically only operates on one item at a time.

Firstly Thanks all

The reason I asked was with alchemy
I wanted 1 of each item, and it kept selecting 5-10 (what I had at the moment) of select items

I guess this is different crafting stuff then

With alchemy, it's true that selecting an item selects the whole stack, but when you actually brew the potion it'll only actually use one item from that stack at a time.
