as for being "physically weak", the only difference between races are the starting skill bonuses and powers, the rest depends on how you build your character.
"Weak" in relation to physical combat. My Breton sword build was a trainwreck in Morrowind. I think they are designed for magic not straight combat. Maybe I just allocated points poorly.
btw, i love the "Breton" introduction scene in Oblivion: " Pale skin, snotty expression. You're a Breton! The masters of magicka, right? Hmph. Nothing but a bunch of stuck-up snobs with cheap parlor tricks"
I'm thinking of using a Dunmer with the Atronach sign. My magic is going to be empty all the time but on the plus side I'm 50% immune to magic and can destroy most mages. Guess I won't be using magic that often.
