Bug with outside doorways

I’m in bruma castle and I cant exit the door, when I walk up to it I just go throught it and fall down into nothingness them am teleported back to the entrance of the door.

I’ve tried reinstalling and loading previous saves and disabling all mods but this continues to happen and is basically game breaking. If I teleport to bruma my whole screen is black and if I teleport to another room the doorway to that room has the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated as I am new to Oblivion and this is halting all progression in the game

Did you install any mods that edit the Bruma region?

I had main mods such as unnofficial patch installed mostly but better cities could maybe effect it but I disabled and uninstalled that mod before and everything was working including Burma, glitch only appeared after entering Burma castle and asking about the spies which I can now not leave the castle or go outside without everything being a void even with teleporting using console commands

Sounds like when uninstalled Better Cities you didn't uninstall properly and it's causing this bug. You could try reinstalling Better Cities but at this point unless you have a backup of unmodded files a clean reinstall would save the day;- even though I know nobody wants to do that

Glitch seems to be the same as this https://steamcommunity.com/app/22330/discussions/0/517141882721770648/ but no solution was answered in the thread except creating a new game which I really don’t want to do but may have to if nobody knows how to resolve this

Make a new game, don't worry about the other save, make a new game and travel to Bruma to see if the issue is still there. If it's not, it's likely that's your only option.

During your uninstall of better cities you might have left the save files slightly corrupted. If the issue persists and you've disabled all mods on a new game to no avail, a clean reinstall is your best bet.

I’ll try with uninstalling and reinstalling better cities files and see if that helps but I fear its a now stuck issue with all my save files thanks for the responses
